Carlton Region Summer Charity Ball

Client:

Specsavers - Carlton Region Summer Charity Ball

Brief:

PLANitOLOGY were asked to create a spectacular Venetian style ball at the London Marriott Grosvenor Hotel for 650 guests.  Top class entertainment included opera singers for a cocktail reception before a 3 course silver service dinner followed by 80?s and 90?s pop star Belinda Carlisle.  The ball helped to raise money for London?s ?Help a London Child? and was a huge success.

What the client said:

?We were not surprised to have been 'blown away' by the variety and options that Planitology gave us for our event, as they are easily, the best people to have talked to at the Event Show 2005. We were given 5 options, and the one we chose (a Venetian ball) fitted what we were looking for perfectly.  I or my colleagues will not hesitate to use Planitology again.?
Regional Chairman, Specsavers Carlton South.

Specsavers and The Royal Society for the Blind

Client:

Specsavers and The Royal Society for the Blind

Brief:

Specsavers approached PLANitOLOGY about producing a staff Summer event for them, the initial plan was to have a charity Fun Run which Specsavers had done the previous year. However for something different PLANitOLOGY created a proposed brief for a Family Fun Day instead still with the plan to raise funds for Specsaver's nominated charity this year. We found the perfect location, Coram's Field; a unique 7 acre park and playground within the centre of London, a real green oasis perfect for the Specsavers event.  PLANitOLOGY had scheduled a variety of entertainers and acts on the main stage, circus workshops, inflatable games and the main fund raising activity was 'It's a Knockout' which had various teams battling it out for the trophy and also golden medals. The event and dedication of all the Specsavers staff helped to raise nearly £60,000 for The Royal London Society for the Blind charity and help raise awareness for eye testing. The event attracted over 2000 guests on the day.
